Birthday entertainment ideas: Flamenco

This summer has been the summer of birthday parties for me! I’ve never had so many fun and wonderful birthday party bookings with a Spanish theme.

Here are my top tips for throwing a Spanish theme birthday party based on my experience of performing Flamenco at birthdays up and down the country this summer.

Flamenco entertainment for your birthday party

Either choose a Flamenco show to wow your guests and create a highlight at your party or a show followed by mingling with the guests to sweep them off their feet and raise the temperature in the room.

Creating the right atmosphere at your birthday

Do you prefer a grand and formal occasion or a fun and exuberant party? A Flamenco dancer can work with both. If you book just the show, your audience can sit back and relax to be entertained. If you book a show with mingling, the dancer will ensure that everyone who enjoys to swing a leg gets up to dance, learns a few moves and has lots of fun on the dance floor. Spanish music is high-energy and infectious and automatically creates a fiesta atmosphere.

Flamenco is expressive and celebratory. It encapsulates all life has to offer with passion, drama and beauty. Therefore, it’s the perfect theme to celebrate important milestones. Flamenco is also extremely fun to join in with, and last but not least the food and drink are delicious and great for sharing.

Lucia performed at my 70th birthday party and she made it extra special.  From booking through to the day of the party Lucia was available to answer questions and to make suggestions.  Her charm, good humour and spectacular dancing was a joy to see and all my guests were impressed.  Thank you. – Janice P.
