I recently took the ‘Photography: Developing Your Eye’ blogging course from The WordPress Blogging University and used it as inspiration to create a few posts that tell you a little more about me. I hope it helps you get to know me through the power of photography! Every post is prompted by a theme from the challenge. First up is ‘Home’.
Home
My home is London. My home is the beautiful flat that I live in. My home is my partner, my friends and my family. But my home is also the dance studio and the stage. That’s why I took this picture of the Flamenco dance studio at Brady Arts Centre in Whitechapel, one of the studios that I regularly take class in.
Practise is the backbone of continuous improvement and the prerequisite for a stellar performance. I love regular practise and hone my skills daily, be that footwork, fitness and stamina, musicality, creative practise or performing. So I take regular Flamenco classes, workshops and masterclasses in London and abroad. I also attend music classes and practise on my own. I complement my Flamenco training with other dance styles and Pilates, Yoga and meditation.
The studio is where it starts, your stage is where it ends 😊
