Maya Pindar was one of the five reviewers who attended the fourth Kaleidoscopic Arts Platform last month. It was our most successful platform yet and we couldn't be happier! You can see impressions from the platform on our Facebook page.

I was very happy to have the opportunity to show 'Living with Sin' again and to receive valuable audience feedback, footage and reviews. Five reviewers attended the showcase, among them Tia Asterope and Maya Pindar. You can read their reviews following the links below.

Last week Margarita Gómez and I used the dramatic light and lovely location of Café Berlín in Santiago to film material for a new work with the working title "Berlin". What does 'home' mean to you?

A few days later, again at Café Berlín, I performed "Berliner Lieder", improvisations to songs about Berlin, as part of "100 en 1 día" Festival Santiago.

Thank you to Margarita and Cristobal Koch of Café Berlín.

The work started at Art Culture Center Bækkelund Bornholm in August 2014 has finally found its form. Thank you to Lizzie J Klotz for a thoughtful and sensitive edit. It's turned out to be a dance film I imagine to play in a gallery exhibition themed around people and their relationship to the countryside and the seaside one day.

Read more and watch an excerpt of the film on the 'To the sea' page.

Last year I worked for filmmaker Onyeka Igwe who is currently based in Toronto. She asked me to create a very personal piece of choreography and to chose a location that was close to my heart. So for one beautiful day last summer we went to Queen's Wood and filmed in the middle of a forest. Onyeka's film 'Can we dance for me?' will be screened at this year's Dance Film Festival UK in Programme 2 from 3pm.

"Dance is language.

Dance is memory.

Dance is the profane construction of self."

This June I had the privilege to work with Michaela Cisariková and her company MCDC, a great team of dancers and artists, again. We filmed a site-specific work exploring the six step in Crystal Palace.

I enjoyed the physical challenge and also working on site, facing fears of height and dancing with the structures that remain of the palace.

Find out more about Michaela Cisariková Dance Company on their Facebook Page.
