Yesterday I performed for Yasmin Sas again. Together with four women we rehearsed "Enduring Reality" throughout October and November. I absolutely love dancing in Yasmin's pieces. Her process is challenging, but she provides a safe and nurturing environment in which to experiment and dare expression. The performance took place as part of Partage Danse at the Pentameters Theatre, an intimate, rustic feeling pub theatre in Hampstead. Looking forwards to future Partage Danse events.

Partage Danse is an intimate platform for dance artists to express and share their continuing exploration. Follow them on Facebook to stay updated with their events.

On November 10th the Third Kaleidoscopic Arts Platform that I co-produce with Konstantina Skalionta will showcase dance by Anna-Lise Marie Dance, Lizzie J Klotz, Sarah Louise Kristiansen and Esther Siddiquie, and art by Vasiliki Stasinaki and Jonna Tideman.

Each platform takes place in a unique space not traditionally intended for dance. After having worked in two former factories, we want to push the idea of unusual spaces and the pub environment is a real challenge. How will dance feel in this intimate and traditional East End pub? Join us and find out.

Find out about the choreographers and their works on the Kaleidoscopic Arts website.

After intensive rehearsals, in which I have learnt a lot, and which will be on-going, I have now begun performing very exciting shows with Unika Dance Events.

Not only am I learning to samba, I am also developing my confidence and expressiveness. I'm very grateful for being able to work with this company as it takes me into a new direction in my dancing career.

On April 25th Kathy Richardson performed in "Living with Sin" as part of "Ensemble Perpetuo presents… Cityscapes”, the first event in a series of innovative evenings of chamber music.

It featured music by Steve Reich, Haydn, Philip Glass, Luigi Boccherini, Copland and Nielsen performed by Perpetuo in the wonderful spacious loft at 47/49 Tanner Street. The ensemble collaborated with a special exhibition of photographs by the London Photo Festival, art by Caroline Mackenzie, drawings by Tom Pearce and with choreography.

Kathy performed the piece absolutely wonderfully and I could not be more proud. It was a beautiful event and received great feedback.

Living with Sin started as a film. Now I want to recreate it as a live performance to bring it to a wider audience and to see how taking it off the screen will affect the audience. I have started rehearsals with Kathy Richardson and the first performance will take place on April 25th as part of "Perpetuo presents... Cityscapes" at 47/49 Tanner Street. Early-bird tickets are on sale for £10 and are going quickly. For all information on the event, please click here.
