Lucidez Dance Logo Version the one Bernie made me

Upon my return to London earlier this year, I took up a new role as the assistant to the founder and director of Unika Dance Events, Maxine Anthony. Working alongside Maxine is very inspiring and I have learnt a lot already.

Last month, next to many other shows, Unika created a Safari Carnival Experience with dancers, capoeristas, drummers, acrobats and animal puppets for Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm in Bristol and I am so proud to be part of such a visionary and creative company.

I can’t wait for what’s to come!

After performing with Unika Dance Events in early February, I’ve come to Sevilla for a month of intensive Flamenco.

I notice that the relative calmness and loneliness I feel here are good for my creativity and #wtgrief keeps developing slowly but surely.

In other news our bid to funding from the Wandsworth Arts Council for the fourth Kaleidoscopic Arts Platform has been successful,

so save the date: May 19th!

My time in Santiago and Latin America has come to an end with a last incredible trip to Panama and Colombia.

Back in London I performed a Samba show for Unika Dance Events for New Year’s Eve and defined my goals for 2017.

I’m an Equity member now and look forwards to taking class, performing and taking Kaleidscopic Arts to the next, funded level!

Happpy New Year!

In January I will move to Santiago de Chile for a year. I'm extremely looking forwards to this adventure and can't wait to discover the city, its dance and its culture. While I'm away my work for Kaleidoscopic Arts will continue, I will research for my choreographic practice and I'm open to whatever will come my way. Sadly this means my Christmas and New Year's Eve shows with Unika Dance Events will be my last and I will truly miss this work and the group.

After intensive rehearsals, in which I have learnt a lot, and which will be on-going, I have now begun performing very exciting shows with Unika Dance Events.

Not only am I learning to samba, I am also developing my confidence and expressiveness. I'm very grateful for being able to work with this company as it takes me into a new direction in my dancing career.
